Hot Hot Hot!

Hot Hot Hot!!! So, only a few hours today.  From Wellmarsh, a few Avocet, Oystercatcher and Redshank, but, as usual this time of year, water very low.  3 Spoonbill flew over heading South towards the Swale.  From Southfleet, one Greenshank, 6 Grey Heron, 27 Shelduck, 9 Marsh Harrier, 3 Buzzard, 3 Kestrel and 45 Grey Plover flying East down the Swale.  From Sharfleet viewing blind, looking towards the Brickfields, 60+ Little Egret.  With the Sun still beating down, and a very warm Southerly wind,  we gave in, too much for us, and the birds!!  One Hobby at Straymarsh on way out.  Time for an Ice Cream!!!
