Self Catering

You will have tea,  freshly ground coffee (from local roasters Garage Coffee), sugar, home-made muesli and, of course, marshmallows in your hut.  Please just ask on arrival if you'd like fresh milk. If you'd like to cook for yourselves there are fantastic farm shops locally to stock up on goodies.   A choice of teas is available in the barn at all times.

All huts are set-up so you can cook simple meals, but it is glamping so there isn’t a microwave or a dishwasher! Vanellus has a gas camping stove, Little Owl and Samphire have woodburning stoves, The Damson, The Saltbox and Ferryman’s have a kitchenette with gas hobs and a mini oven.

There is also a shared camp kitchen with a fridge and gas hobs. Pots and pans, crockery and cutlery are provided.

Delicious hot meals delivered to your hut door

We can cook up a warming hearty supper or indulgent breakfast bap with fantastic Kentish ingredients and deliver hot meals to your hut.  All meals are made in our kitchen using local ingredients.  Our meat comes from Macknade’s Butchers which champion local farmers and are the only certified butcher of pasture-fed meat in East Kent.  We source fruit and vegetables from Macknades and Brambledown Farm Shops.

You can settle up for any extras on check out by cash or card on check out.

Suppers: We offer a set two course menu which changes daily.  However we are very happy to adapt the menu for any dietary requirements.

Packed Lunches: We offer seasonal vegetable soup with local cheese and bread, or a vegetable quiche with a seasonal salad.  Served with fruit and a soft drink.

Breakfast:  Hot breakfast sandwiches with bacon, halloumi, avocado, egg or tomato, served with a pot of tea or coffee.

Meals Out

We are spoilt in our beautiful area for wonderful places to eat. Book ahead and nab a table at two times National Restaurant of the Year Winner The Sportsmans or head into nearby Whistable and Faversham for wonderful seafood and great pubs.

Honesty Bar

The beautiful Victorian barn also houses our honesty bar, which is stocked with a selection of spirits, wines and beers. And we hope that you’ll try some of Kent’s best producers: We have fantastic Kentish wines and Curious brew lager from Chapeldown, award-winning beers from Old Dairy, along with delicious small batch spirits from Nip from the Hip. We also have yummy and slightly naughty local snacks available to buy from the honesty bar and in the in hut snack boxes.

Coffee from Garage Coffee and a selection of teas from Debonair Tea Company are available in the barn at all times. On some afternoons, home made cakes by Amy are available too!
