The sea wall was over-topped and damaged in parts during the 02:30  high tide on Friday morning.  It was all hands on deck as we carried out emergency repairs that morning and fingers were tightly crossed for the afternoon tide.  Fortunately this did not over-top the walls again as feared.

We will be assessing the ecological impact of the sea water in the ditches and looking at how we, along with Government agencies, can prevent future risk of damage to the Reserve.
