Had a mooch round on Monday 15/12/2014, took a few pics of the small birds round the feeders then headed down the track to the hides, it was a nice sunny winters day where the winter sun has a orangey / yellowy glow making everything look magical.

As I passed some Reeds on the left of the track I saw and heard some movement so thinking it was Reed Buntings scanned the reeds which were blowing a bit in the wind and to my amazement saw a lovely orangey bird deep inside the reed bed but with patience and perseverance a small party of Bearded Tits were all hopping around together and occasionally they would climb the reeds until they were clear for me to get a shot.

Well managed this shot as best of the day and also the little female Reed Bunting, was very pleased with the day thoroughly enjoyed myself and was over the moon with the Beardie shots as I have never seen one ever until this day.
