Elmley in August – Happy on Sheppey!

I came yesterday afternoon. Sunny and cool and windy.
I saw: one stoat running on the road, 3 Marsh Harriers and a young one.
Around 20 Canada geese, 20 Bar-tailes Godwit, one dozen of Pheasants (certainly young), ten Hares, Dunlins or Sanderlings, Snipes, one Sandpiper, the couple of Kestrels, 3 Egrets, one Northern Wheater, one Pipit, a few Barns Swallows, one Herring Gull.
It was very lovely and certainly the best day out of 3 I spent during my holidays.
